I thought o-bon was last month, being 7gatsu and all. At least, the temple I am afiliated with celebrated last month. Or is it by location due to the whole 2 different calendars thing?

Also, did celebrate tanabata last month?

Yeah, I find calling it the Japanese Halloween is really misleading, given what people actually do at the festival.

Uhm… the seventh month is July? Or are we talking about the lunisolar calendar seventh month (translating to August in Gregorian calendar)?
